I have the world's most adorable kitty. Her name is Ella. I rescued her from the Humane Society on May 4, 2013 - my 23rd birthday. She brings so much joy to my world - I absolutely love her!

I love to cook and bake. I love to watch cooking shows and read cookbooks. My favorite thing to make is dessert. I just love decorating cakes and cupcakes.

I graduated college with a degree in Accounting & Finance. I was extremely blessed to be hired full time after an internship and now work as a Financial Analyst for a local Garden Center. This blog serves as my creative outlet; there isn't much creativity in the accounting world.

I am a novice crafter. I love to experiment with new DIY projects. I can't wait until I own my own home and I can really try new design ideas.

The vision I have for this blog is to share the food I create, the books that tickle my fancy, and my life adventures. Life is good.
